Quarter Finalist in the Filmatic Horror Screenplay Awards
My latest horror comedy, Santa’s Got Claws, placed as a quarterfinalist in this screenwriting contest. It’s a pretty big deal for me. This is the first script in a while that I’ve really put out into the world. I’ve been entering it in contests, sending out query letters, and basically just trying to get in the hands of as many people as possible. It’s nice to see a little recognition for my hardwork. Keep those fingers crossed.
Posters in the Lookbook?
If you’ve clicked on the link, you’ll see that in my Lookbook I have examples of my artwork. My ceramic sculpture. It was a long beloved hobby of mine and I will one day get back to it. But in the meantime I recently started making posters for the various screenplays and novels I have written but still have not yet sold (fingers crossed people). Would people be interested in seeing these posters?
Artificial Deadline
So I am working on the first draft of a new script. I am really excited by it and it has been getting me really energized about my craft. So I decided to set a deadline to finish the first draft. My parents, whom I have been staying with as they are old and frail and need help, are leaving their current residence in Florida to sepend the summer in RI around the beginning of June. And thus I have decided I need to get this draft done by then. Will I manage it? Hopefully. I will keep whoever reads this updated on my progress.
Entry 01
This is my website. There are many others like it but this one is mine. All kidding aside, this is where I will post updates about my writings (things I’ve sold, things I’ve published, things getting made, etc.) and artwork (which I need to get back into doing). Also there is a contact page so if you want to share something with me feel free. Worst thing I can do is ignore you.
